Destiny is like a ubiquitous cloud over our lives. It heavily influences the events in our lives, the decisions we make, who we spend our lives with. All major events in our life such as birth, marriage, major illnesses, accidents and death are pre-destined. As destiny is a spiritual root cause of difficulties in our life, its effects can only be nullified by spiritual practice.

VALUES

Values are those things that really matter to each of us … the ideas and beliefs we hold as special. Life Depends on Values. Values depend on different people’s mentality. Caring for others, for example, is a value; so is the freedom to express our opinions. Most of us learned our values – or morals, if you prefer – at home, at church, at school. But, where are our children learning their values? Maybe from parents, teachers and religious leaders, but society has changed. Too often young people today are most influenced by what they see and hear on television or on the street.

A value is a belief, a mission, or a philosophy that is meaningful. Whether we are consciously aware of them or not, every individual has a core set of personal values. Values can range from the commonplace, such as the belief in hard work and punctuality, to the more psychological, such as self-reliance, concern for others, and harmony of purpose.

When we examine the lives of famous people, we often see how personal values guided them, propelling them to the top of their fields. For example, one actor was motivated by his commitment to social justice, which led to important acting roles related to that value that made him world famous. Whatever one’s values, when we take them to heart and implement them in the smallest details of our lives, great accomplishment and success are sure to follow.

Likewise, we see how political parities and politicians subscribe to certain core values — ranging from helping the poor, easing the burden of the middle class, improving the environment, making government responsive and efficient, engendering loyalty and unity, and so forth.

The key point to keep in mind about values is that implementing them energizes everything concerned with it. For an individual, committing to and applying values releases fresh energies, which always attract success, achievement, and well-being. Likewise, when companies or other institutions adopt values, individuals working at the organization become energized, as do its customers, its products and services, and everyone and everything else associated with that organization.

Maha Vishuba Sankranti

Maha Vishuba Sankranti, also known as Mesha Sankranthi and Pana Sankranti, is observed as the Oriya New Year. It is on this day that Sun enters the sign Libra. The Odia community celebrates New year on the occasion.The day marks the beginning of the New Year in the traditional Oriya Solar Calendar. The summer season also commences from this period. In 2012, the date of Maha Vishuba Sankranti is April 14. The Sankranti time is 9:10 PM on April 13, 2012

Maha Vishuba Sankranti is noted for subdued celebrations. The highlight of the day is the preparation of sweet drink called ‘Pana,’ which is made from fruits, milk, curd etc. Cultural programs are organized in some regions including literary meetings.

People visit various temples and offer prayers and special pujas. Maha Vishuba Sankranti also marks the end of temple festivals in some regions of Orissa.

An interesting story of Maha Vishuba Sankranti is associated with Bhishma in the Mahabharata and Jala Visuva Sankranti is the first day of the Baisakh month and is observed as New Year in Orissa. The ritual is also popularly known as Mahavishuba Sankrantiand Pana Sankranti and is on April 14, 2011. The story of Jala Sankranti is associated with Bhishma of the Mahabharata and is mentioned in the Bhavishya Purana.

‘Bhishma after being defeated by Arjuna in the Mahabharata war was lying on a bed of arrows (Shara Sajya). Pandavas and Kauravas had assembled near him and he asked for some water. Arjun then aimed an arrow in the ground and from the crevice created by the arrow appeared Holy River Ganga to thirst the quench of Bhishma.

Out of contentment and compassion Bhishma said that those people who would offer cold water to thirsty people on this day would not only be free from all sins, but also the departed souls of their ancestors as well as the Gods in heaven would be pleased.

In remembrance of this day people in Orissa distribute water and a popular drink called Pana.

The festive mood starts one month before during the Chaitra month as per the Hindu calendar. People in villages organise folk dances and spend whole night to make the auspicious day divine as per their belief.

In some parts of the state, Danda Yatra and Jhamu Yatra are organised for one month in many Devi temples. The period is known as sacred and during the period mother power impacts more. Panna Sankranti is also celebrated at Maa Hingula in Talcher, Maa Tarini in Keonjhar, Maa Manikeswari in Kalahandi, Maa Mangala in Kakatpur and Bhairavi in Berhampur.

The participants in a Danda Nata invoke the blessings of Lord Shiva to get blessed by achild, to fulfil certain ambition, to get rid of sickness, seeking happiness in life, goodharvest or even peace and happiness to all the communities. Coincidentally, the totalnumber of pledge takers in Danda Nata is 13 and the number of days for the festival isalso 13. These vow takers are known as the `Bhoktas`. All the `Bhoktas` lead a very pious life for 21 days of this festival and they avoid eating meat, fish or cohabiting duringthis period.Kamana Ghata carries an importance in Danda Nata. Ghata is the Pitcher, which is full of water, and it holds a very important place in the performance, since it represents the bodyand the water in it represents life. It represents the God invoked and hence worshippedwith strong belief. After the function, the pitcher is again brought to the water of a pondor river with due care and immersed from where it had been brought.A new pitcher is then taken to the pond or a river and water is filled in it, while the musicis played with the accompaniment of drums and blowing of conch shell. This pitcher isfirst worshipped under a banyan tree and then taken out in a procession through thevillage and then kept in a hut (made preferably in front of a Shiva`s temple), known asthe Kamana Ghara. Two pieces of cane-sticks represents `Hara` & `Gouri` and they arekept near the Ghata and are worshipped with the pitcher. A sacred fire is also kept lightedin the hut from which Pata-Bhokta lights up an oil lamp. As they light up the lamp theBhoktas yell with the word “Rushi Putre”. Then resin and myrrh powder is thrown on thelighted oil lamp, which turns a burning up with a flare and the `Bhoktas` yell the words”Kala Rudramani Ho Joy”.The entire group of Danda Nata consisting of the `Bhoktas` and their colleagues go invarious villages in a procession with the band of musicians. There is no specificdeclaration about where they are going to perform “Danda” in a day. Like the `Bhoktas`,some common men also keep a vow in their mind for getting some mercy from LordShiva. Seeing the procession, these vow takers clean up their houses with the help of cow-dung, water, put floor designs with coloured powders and keep a jug full of water.

During Jhamu Ytara, people observing ‘Brata’ walk on thorns and fire. Those who walk on fire are known as ‘Nian Patua’ and those on thorns are called ‘Kanta Patuas’. Some devotees stand on the edge of swords and they are called ‘Khanda Patuas’. Some show their extra-ordinary skills in deep water and they are called ‘Pani Patuas’. These rituals are related to Tantra culture and done seeking the benevolence of divine Goddess Shakti.

The Sankranti is also the New Year (Chitirai Vishu or Puthandu or Varsha Pirapu) for Tamil, (Poila Baisakh) for Bengali and (Rongali Bihu or Bohag Bihu) for Assamese.

Life ends when you stop dreaming, hope ends when you stop believing and love ends when you stop caring. So dream hope and love…Makes Life Beautiful….Time will always fly, but our love will never die. Bonding with my baby “SIA”

Bonding is the intense attachment that develops between me and my baby.It makes me  to shower my baby with love and affection and to protect and nourish my little one. It gets me up in the middle of the night to feed my hungry baby and makes attentive to the baby’s wide range of cries.I have a mixture of feelings about it.

I feel an intense attachment within the first minutes  after my baby’s birth.For me its a byproduct of everyday caregiving. You may not even know it’s happening until you observe your baby’s first smile and suddenly realize that you’re filled with love and joy.

Feeling the attachment of a child isn’t just something that makes mama feel good. Its the attachment  rapidly form with my baby after birth. It is a positive emotional attachment that stimulates desire for rewarding interaction, initiates lactation, and changes the psychological state.Every mother has a moment in her life where she remembers every detail.

It is the moment when i gave birth to my child. At that moment, i made a promise to myself and my baby that i would be a good mother. I just wanna give traits, unconditional love, support, and being a good role model. Necessity is the mother of taking chances.I remember my mother’s prayers and they have always followed me. They have clung to me all my life.Thats what i want to give to my baby also.

The moment a child is born, the mother is also born.  She never existed before.  The woman existed, but the mother, never.  A mother is something absolutely new.My baby’s one  smile forgets all my worries, tensions & all

I Felt happy when as I saw so many viewers follow my blog and those updates. One of my fan suggested me to write some thing about Anna Hazare’s action against corruption in India.

What to say about him?In my point of view Anna Hazare is the shadow of  our Gandhi ji!!!!“YEH ANNA NAHI ANDHI HAI DESH KA DUSRA GANDHI HAI”

He  is the face of India’s fight against corruption.He has taken that fight to the corridors of power and challenged the government at the highest level. People, the common man and well-known personalities alike, are supporting him in the hundreds swelling to the thousands.

Just what we need is to support him….i want to say.Anna ji hum sare yuva ish corruption me apke sath hai.. is desh ko apke is mesal ki jarurat hai…jo dusre ko prerna deta hai.Agar desh ko curruption free banana hai to hame sanse pahle apne andar ka curruption mitana hoga kun ki neta hame aur aapme se hi bante hai aur ham aur aap kitne sachche hai ye aap aur ham sab achchi tarah se jante hai.Aaap shangarash karo hum aap kai shatt hai.

I want to thank god after a decade no no no !!!!!!!!!!!!decades someone great has come to abolish corruption that is really a hard task………….but a revolutionary change is must,not only me the whole nation will be supportive.

Corruption se kuch aur bhi yaad aya mujhe…..

I see the Hindi TV Serial  Crime Patrol, this is an amazing show which brings in light many strange and facts things about the cases which takes place in the different part of the country. the best part of the show is hosting by anup soni,Thank you Sony for such a show. I’ve been watching crime patrol since episode 1and now its season 4. completely love the show.

This week the theme was about the corruption means those who put their lives at stake by fighting corruption.the person was just trying on trying to help the people but what did he get nothing he killed spot dead just for sake of fighting corruption ….but police gave the report as robbery case murder,i dont understand the people get so afraid …….. this happend due to the higher level of authorities , because of them we people are suffering!!!!!why??????

Hereby i can visualize as when i was pregnant at that time  in our area roads was not well i have suffered a lot.. they used to dig the rods but later on do nothing every one were suffering for riks autos etc we use to go by walk for long long distance .

The crime of corruption has always been viewed with particular distaste. It is often coined alongside the word bribery, the means by which the politician or official is induced to become corrupt,The most obvious effect of political corruption is a loss of public.

So guys get up need to do something for the country

I think planning is way which should be utilized. I’m in the process of writing a whole series on blog planning after reading some comments that lead me to believe!
